The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一封对电影的情书，通过放映转场回过去很有情调，接回现实也便是回忆。
看电影当下的状态很重要。这是一次四星体验。#BJIFF2021
故事的过去与现在割裂感太强了，主角的堕落仿佛是强行被安排的，只由一次导演的失败就结束了整个导演生涯，辞职、搬家，完全不能让观众同情。电影的高光基本上都在回忆中，但这部分反而只占了不到1/3的篇幅，叙事结构说不出的奇怪。 不过，永野芽郁真的太适合这个角色了。只要一出场就全程盯着她（要不是她可能也不会看这个电影
后面还是挺感动的，落泪了，只是观感还是有点儿割裂。
经历这两个多月的封闭，对这个电影男主的心路历程有了深刻的理解。内心越丰富的人，越需要精神生活，越需要得到反馈…不过，战胜了寂寞孤独痛苦，也就真的超越了自己本能，成为更“刀枪不入”的人。

山田洋次的电影一直都get不到 情节和人物都很老土
6分，整体还是老土的一个老年梦，山田洋次在调度上真的没啥新意了，剧本内容也没太多好点子了。
故事没有多好甚至有些陈旧，但被结尾戳中了，电影之神，请保佑我吧！
上映第一天来涩谷感受近森老师的摄影。这个片子更多的还是拍个情怀吧。

但是你要是谈原著，好像改的并不忠实原著。
