The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 没看过原作单说本片，这是一个好但还不够好的剧本，只属于杰哈的独角戏，他的确很好地完成了任务，但首先是加入了一些不必要的枝节，比如男主哮喘有什么意义吗？他一定得这么焦虑吗？这就引出了藉由人物的焦虑情绪来塑造氛围并不成功，只有男主的表演在紧张而影片的其余全部都不紧张。结尾也太满了，没有任何空间，影片的整体气质比较像一部三流的美剧。
当我们还在呼喊狗是人类的朋友这一口号时，已经有人在讨论狗在战争后的恢复了，它们跟患有战争后遗症的士兵一样，需要被治愈。
露露，有能力，有血性，有柔情，有悲情，让我泪目了。

演技与情节，台词，节奏，都恰到好处，于是很无聊的故事也被演绎的相当精彩
