The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 非常新颖的题材，超载毒药导致的灵魂脱离，既串联了一系列扑朔迷离的事件，也营造了独特的时空错乱的氛围。这类创新影片，在国内的主流电影市场，相当少见，或是审查机制，或是过于缺乏创造力了，值得更需要警醒与深思。

快节奏的90分钟流媒体“小”电影，在看多了敏感话题、炫技特效、冗长复杂等令人头晕目眩的“大”电影后，这类“小”电影非常解腻。虽然角色塑造不完整、悬疑细节不足以及些许剧情漏洞，但事件框架完整、剧情发展流畅，灵活多变的镜头，麻雀虽小，五脏俱全。只有女主演技在线，为女主和“小”电影加一颗星。
是好看的，小成本，却又有很多精细的设计，给人感觉就是：游刃有余，并且很乖
