The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 杰洛特小时候是个光头.. 和喜爱的人在湖边小屋生活，梦想很美好。
情感主线渲染的很好，两个烂人面对生活的烂摊子，想出来的办法却都是杀掉对方。即使亲爹被杀，想到的也是逃跑，烂到家。全程都是又废物又绝望。因为情绪铺垫的好，后面打斗再离谱都觉得不意外。最喜欢的桥段是老爷子开电动车。

前半段还不错 挺搞笑的 后半段男主智商下限 各种行为真的很招人烦 老爷子真惨 结尾还蛮有意思
维瑟米尔是杰洛特如父亲一般存在的人物，值得为他出一篇前传，但是这个故事改编的非常糟糕。虽然从人物塑造上和剧情发展上没啥问题，但是几个基础的猎魔人设定都错了，猎魔人诸多学派被抛弃了，青草试炼被泛化成为创造怪物的手段，而女术士的复仇更是扯淡（术士本身也没有后代），所以看完之后我只觉得生气。

还不错，应该说还原了猎魔人世界观里怪物横行，正邪难辨的整体氛围，打得时候也很过瘾，没有回避血腥和残酷的一面，vesemir曾经也是一个潇洒不羁的帅小伙！还有我们的小白狼怎么是个光头？制作组你们是对geralt有什么误解吗？
年轻的维瑟米尔比白狼还要帅，那场在游戏、小说中被无数次提起的凯尔莫罕大屠杀也展现得非常精彩。
V爷年轻时真是一把好手咳咳....打斗很精彩，凯尔莫罕一战太惨烈了，如果是真人版基本就是R18了，结尾在意料之中，只是没想到小光头竟是白狼本狼~萌呢~
啥系列也没看过，单独作为一部动画电影很好看。
老爷子维瑟米尔的青春岁月，以及凯尔莫罕的毁灭之谜。故事拍的很有味道，无论是猎魔人还是术士都有好有坏，各自犯了错，也都付出了血的代价。打斗场面异常精彩，最后以手换首真的是决绝的选择
不同的炼金药灌入体内之后就会获得自由与财富，当达到猎魔人水平天花板的时候到头来架不住时代变迁变成了被讨伐的对象。为消灭怪物而生，却又制造出新的怪物。假装忘记彼此，谈话间的温情就像回演了小时候离别的心结。
制造怪物然后杀掉怪物，以此赚钱，这是权力和资本一直在做的事。
对世界观 背景 主题做了成功的叙述 观影体验也不错 最大的惊喜是Illyana 被狠狠地塞了一口狗粮 所以说Geralt你为啥秃了哈哈
Witcher的形象也太gay了，简直就是Tom of Finland出品
我好像忘了小说情节了，我记得小说里面没有说这段历史啊
