The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 前半段是爱情的模样，年轻真好！后半段又是成长之后的无奈，大人真无聊。

模范人生没有固定模板，中年角色身份乱成一团。没有捷径可走的时候，酒精就是人生捷径。这部电影献给每一个不想搞砸一切的中年人。
男主双相障碍（易怒、冲动消费、找乐子、而又及失魂新年夜或瞬间抑郁、恐慌）
开场的感觉很好，慢慢的发觉男主角这个人物的心理层次不清晰，基本上就是原地打转的状态，到了第三幕，用死亡，打架和争吵这些套路化的情节来处理人物的问题，强行让人物转变，显得不够真诚，导演套路化的给出一个情境，下一秒就立刻解决了问题。不过莱昂纳多·斯巴拉格利亚这次的表演够卖力了，直接泳池边甩Dior摇摆，大叔人到中年还是这么美，不明白为什么他身边的小鲜肉瞧不上他，帅成这样有什么可中年危机的，太不科学了，他这种外型来演这种角色，我不信。
后半的颓废好像现实人生纪录片一样。这有什么办法，是你心甘情愿傻傻做备胎的😔
对另一半的两点要求：
儿子的各种台词：“爸爸，太黑了，我什么都看不见”“怎么会没事，我的心脏像燃烧一样痛”
没有想到Leo唱Careless Whisper这么好听【电影其实像男主一样一直原地踏步 没有解释他的精神问题 结尾也没有任何解决 就像个半成品令人致郁 但又讽刺的贴近生活
能理解人物的心路历程，但是拍的真的不太好，剧情空洞乏味，女主后半段直接消失让人感觉怪怪的。感觉男主最后那次与女主见面可以多一些对话探讨两个人对这段感情的看法和打算，而不是看男主跟好朋友聊一堆无意义的话题。
男主的演技简直太牛逼了！太牛逼了！太牛逼了！
