Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
太细腻了. 太喜欢了. 拿捏的真好. Felix和小男孩演的真好. 女主演的也挺好的.
看完以后一直纠结于
看似平淡但却无比真挚的叔侄感情，黑白色调选的太好了，纪录片导演受到姐姐的委托照顾自己的儿子，叔侄在相处中不断破冰，叔叔告诉了侄子他和孩子姐姐关系看似不好的原因，以及孩子父亲的挣扎，最令人动容的时刻莫过于小孩要被送回家向叔叔道歉，和母亲来接他的不舍。影片还引入了许多问题，而儿童的回答却很有深度，令人深思儿童的视角，太喜欢小男主了。
cute yes，但是你真的要蜻蜓点水cross generation的沟通和人与人之间的理解和沟通，那就是a white man and a white man to be do stuff together, 挺无聊的。
一种优化后的价值观呈现。但这种情感交流的方式真的太迷人，太令人向往了！很像文德斯的<爱丽丝城市漫游>。

温温吞吞，累了可以看看，什么都想提点又什么都没提，美国人就爱在一些不该担心的地方、或者即使担心对了地方也屁用没有、或者根本轮不上该种社会角色担心的地方瞎担心。剪辑不错，不磨蹭又不赶，很会利用画外音摆脱枯燥的叙述。
慢慢的大人眼里的孩子可能除了岁数小之外，就没什么需要照顾了。亦或者大家都是小孩，在心里都有着不为人知想要被拥抱的伤心之处。
是那种没有剧情的聊天电影。开始还觉得有些无聊，越看越喜欢，看到最后又哭又笑。这世界让人困惑，你不好也没关系。

蛮特别的电影，看起来真的有些辛苦。毕竟跟现实比较，就不太能认可了。

我总是跟小丑串戏，那个眼神给我印象太深了。结构看着松散，展开当中表达了比较丰富的内涵，我看完更没有信心去带一个孩子，我觉得我会没耐心，会控制不住情绪，最终会放任其自由发展。
黑白，诗意。我们是否也应该被孩子们教育呢？不知道，因为我们从未倾听过。影片缺点就是太平淡，小孩任性引起不适了。总之谈不上喜欢。

如我说过，孩子即是魔鬼也是天使，其实成人也是，只是成人是压抑的孩子，他们将所有这些正负极端的东西挤压，以求使得自己更加沉稳。但是事实是，这种挤压本身就带给成人很多压力，这种压力则会扭曲，让原本不属于自己一部分的东西融入自己的人格和行为里。大多数人在成年之后才学会的智慧与道理，其实很多都只是为了适应社会，并不是在绝对意义上的智慧。孩子从很小开始就可以很聪明，甚至有甚于成人，我渐渐感觉我和孩子们的差别只在于经验，即我吃到了很多教训，所以我学会了什么事情不该做什么事情该做，而孩子没有。为了去化解这些伤痛，成人会试图用原本不相信的东西去说服自己，或试图逃避，或变得虚伪，或扭曲，变得畏缩，或极端些的则疯狂，变态。而这些，孩子都知道。
话太密了 孩子总有一个阶段如此招人讨厌又自以为是 但又真挚纯真
不停顿一下真看不下去。看看停停发现惊喜连连。灰色调好高级哈哈哈。
