During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 要论，这部片应该还有个标签，那就是“教育片”。
据说上部被吐槽文戏少，是因为被放到了下部。看完水门桥后我认为，整部长津湖就没有什么文戏—每次战斗间歇的短暂交流可不算文戏。用电影去表现抗美援朝，表现志愿军，本就力不从心，并不是技术达不到，而是电影这种艺术形式本身无法表现国人心中的抗美援朝。抗美援朝如同一场雄壮的进行曲，不允许有任何不和谐音符，电影中，志愿军战士用各种牺牲诠释了英勇、顽强、视死如归。战争在中国人心中本就是不一样的事物，在中国，战争这个词是容不下多少哲学思考的。我们的战争首先是悲壮的，可歌可泣的。我们不能，也不允许像别的国家那样，从第三人的视角看待自己国家的战争。于是，我们最好用纪录片表现战争，能有好作品。至于电影，还是用来记录更加复杂晦暗的人性，和更加模棱两可的世界观吧。
孙道临的表演相对其他演员还是更赏心悦目一些，虽然可能由于剧本和导演所限还谈不上表演的层次感，手法比较单一。

印象深刻的两点：
没有狗血的爱情也没有逆天的反转和戏剧，只是平淡的写实与牺牲，却足以令人动容。致敬李白烈士。
用美国的软件AI色彩修复一弄，就能吹什么国产自主修复，大国工匠云云，真不戳
时代性很重，修复版本略差，不如直接放黑白片。
死了两个连的人炸桥，美军用飞机就把桥修好了，有点替他们不值得。大过年看的哭兮兮

胜利在望却死在黎明到来前的夜晚，人生真是不可预料。
电影没有把辣椒水，老虎凳这些用刑的场面拍的太多，相当克制。现在的电影，动不动就是血肉横飞的大场面，主角受刑，如果不打个十分钟，那简直不是拍电影。
4K彩色修复清晰度不错，至于彩色的效果做不到完美也丢失了黑白片特有的美感，孙道临在这部的核心还是那坚定的神情，真是打动观众了。

知道《长津湖》有下部《水门桥》后，老爸早就惦记着了。对老一辈人来说是纪念，对年轻一代来说是学习，志愿军战士这段历史这种精神是我们中国人世世代代都应铭记的。易烊千玺把伍万里经过战争而不得不从江边野孩子迅速蜕变为能独当一面的七连战士这种痛苦的成长演得特别好，从上部最初的野性，到这部背负生死的沉重。
